We are here to walk with you in your journey toward Christ
Whether we're gathering together for worship, participating in small group Bible studies, or having a party, we are building relationships; growing closer to God and to one another. It is a wonderful thing when we realize we are loved and really belong.
So if you're taking your first step in getting to know us or making the decision to become more involved in the life here at Truth Tabernacle, we are here to walk with you in your journey of connecting and finding purpose.
Our Student group, ages 12-17, meets Sundays 10-11am and the 1st Thursday of every month in the Youth room for a time of fun and focused study. You will find them growing and having fun together throughout the year at various events whether playing pool, basketball, volleyball, bowling, skating, having a nerf war, airsoft war, hiking, hanging out at a game night or being together at a state youth function.
We realize the relationships being cultivated and decisions being made during these years will greatly impact the course of a life. It is our vision to see each young person connect to God and establish healthy foundations that will enable them to realize the potential and purpose they can have in Christ.
Our small groups meet the 1st and 3rd week of each month. These groups are about loving God and loving people. Within this smaller setting there is greater opportunity to build relationships, ask questions, and find support from friends walking the same journey. You will also find these groups serve each other on a more individual level; sharing the joys, loads and challenges of daily life.
Our vision for our small groups is to be an extension of the body of Christ growing and connecting people to God and walking together gaining a passion for His Word, realizing power through relationship and fulfilling His purpose in each of our lives.
Our Hyphen group, ages 18-35, meets the 2nd Thursday of every month in the Youth room for a time of focused sharing and learning. You’ll find this group of young adults full of energy, ideas and creativity! They are always on the go; fun in Portland, hiking, day trips to the coast, picnic at the lake, ice skating or dinner with friends, they’re always having fun.
Several from this group are leaders within our Church who are gaining a passion for fulfilling the Great Commission. It is our vision to see each young adult identify and grow their individual gifts and become the Spirit-lead leaders God designed them to be.
Purpose Institute is a ministry training institution which partners with local churches and districts to develop leaders in the Apostolic model. Purpose Institute provides curriculum and systems designed to enhance ministry training and make it accessible to emerging leaders!
We were blessed to open a Hood River campus January 2014 with classes being offered annually each Spring Semester. We as a church family have reaped the benefits of intentional learning and developing as individuals.
Healthy individuals grow healthy families and healthy families provide stability and support in our church and community! You will find the men getting away for the day at the annual Sportsman's show, maybe visiting an air museum or just having a guys BBQ night. The ladies love a morning out for breakfast or coffee and especially look forward each year to renting a house by the beach and enjoying a relaxing weekend away.
Our Single Adult Ministries include individuals that are unmarried, divorced, or widowed. S.A.M meets once every other month. You can find them getting together at Sister Debby’s home for food and games or on their way to the beach for a day trip! These spunky singles know how to have a good time!
Our Classics group, ages 55 and upward, meet the 3rd Sunday following our 11am service for lunch and a time of fellowship. Sometimes this is done in a restaurant but when meeting at someone’s home it is sure to be a time of wonderful food & celebration with all the “well-seasoned” cooks providing their best.
Our Classics have captured the vision that everyone has purpose!
